What is the Workshop all about?
Sunday 15th November 2026 10am - 3pm Get to grips with all things charcoal and learn some new techniques and ideas. Learn about reductive charcoal images and how to use brushes and water with the charcoal for different effects. Play around with coloured charcoals as well as the usual black and explore both quick and expressive mark-making alongside more precise delicate marks. Combine with graphite pencil just as many of the masters did before you. This is a workshop aimed at all levels of ability and led by an experienced artist and teacher who will support and encourage all, whatever your experience. Sunday 15th November 2026 10am—3pm Tredington Village Hall GL20 7BP Nr. Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester & Worcester Cost £70 all materials included. Good accessibility and free carpark age 18+ **Please arrive 15 mins before the start time so you can grab a free cuppa and settle in. Also, please bring an old shirt or painting apron as charcoal can be messy and mark clothes.
