Spring Inspired Linocutting Workshop

What is the Workshop all about?

Spring Inspired Lino-cutting and Printmaking Workshop Sunday 2nd March 2025 10am - 2pm Tredington Village Hall GL20 7BP (on the Stoke Orchard Rd.) Nr. Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bishops Cleeve and Tewkesbury Come and create fantastic designs using the wonderful technique of Lino-cutting. We use soft cut lino to make it much easier to carve into with the tools. Be inspired by Spring flowers, wildlife or any other images that you would like to recreate using this fabulous medium. Copy or trace for the pictures provided, depending on your skill level. Print your designs on paper or cards and experiment with colours and ideas. This is a technique that is wonderfully adaptable for even the most nervous beginner and you will be fully supported and guided by a professional artist and teacher. Lino-cutting is an artform which allows you to produce fantastic, impactful results from even the simplest designs. They look great as cards or mounted and framed as gifts. Whether you have tried this printing technique before and want to expand your skill, or are completely new to it you will get plenty out of this workshop. It really is accessible to all abilities.
